Our Gelato and Sorbetto

Our goal is to produce Italian type gelato and sorbet.  Invented in Florence, Italy in the 16th century, gelato has a fat content between 0% and 8% butterfat (American ice cream must contain a minimum of 10% butterfat to be called “ice cream.”) Gelato is churned at a lower speed than ice cream which results in less air being incorporated, giving a richer taste and a creamier smoother texture. Sorbet also has its origins in Italy. This water-based gelato is made with fresh fruit, contains no dairy, and is 100% fat free. Our sorbets are crafted from sweetened juice, fruit puree, sugar, flavorings, and purified water.

Our gelatos and sorbets are available in pints and 2.5-liter (70 ounce) and 5-liter (140 ounce) pans.
